Background: Shiro and his twin brother were saved from a devastating landslide when they were still babies by the village priest of Hanuda, Reiji Makino. Unfortunately for Shiro, Leader Makino’s distraught sister was there at a time. Having lost her own precious baby in the landslide she promptly took Shiro as her own while Leader Makino got stuck with the other baby. Shiro grew up in the Miyata family were his mother made it very clear to him that he was a replacement and the rest of the family would grumble about how the next-in-line for the family name was not really part of the family. Shiro studied and began to work as a doctor as was the family tradition. But also continued the family’s darker purpose of silencing people opposed to the local religion (by declaring them mentally ill and locking them up). All the time jealously watching his brother who had became the new Leader of the Hanuda church.
Then it happened, the holy ritual to summon the god of the village failed and Shiro was sucked into another dimension with the rest of Hanuda where the living dead roamed the streets. The same thing that happened 27 years ago. Having worked before covering up the incident that happened all those years ago Shiro was pretty quick to catch on to what was happening when he saw the buildings that were supposed to have disappeared in 1976. Making his way to the hospital of that era he was able to find the last clues to his situation there and find the one thing that could stop the god that had dragged Hanuda into this dimension, Uryen.

In the end he planted explosives on the dam of the area so the water would rush out and destroy the building in which the god hid and it would be weakened by the sunlight. His last act was to use Uryen to free the souls of the people trapped as half-zombies. After which he fell down a mysterious hole created by the Uryen’s power. (Probably was a path to the afterlife in the game but… not in this case)

Personality: Shiro Miyata is what many would call a psychopath. He is cold, ruthless and does what he needs to do to gain his goals. He even killed a nurse he had a relationship with when she turned out to be pregnant because it would have been bad for his reputation if it came out. Having had as a side task during most of his life to keep information away he has also become quiet good at finding it too. The truth about Shiro is that his whole life has been coloured by his inferiority complex towards Kei Makino, his twin brother. Kei held one of the most influential positions in the village and was well-liked by almost everyone, and yet Kei was a quiet clumsy and all too kind person. Simply said, Kei lived the life Shiro always wished he could. During the time they were stuck in alternate dimension Hanuda this became too much for Shiro and he killed his brother and his own name with it. Because in Shiro’s twisted mind the only way to no longer be inferior to Kei was to become Kei. So after that he took on his brother’s name and purpose, trying to fix all the mistakes the failed ritual caused. Still he’s the same Shiro Miyata at heart and even if he’s trying to carry out his brother’s kindness the reason he does it is because his warped sense of pride. He also is an educated doctor and letting a patient die would harm his pride a lot, so he strives to help the people he come across (that isn’t getting in his way). He also likes to play the hero even if his methods may not be very well liked by the people around him.

Also once again, This is the RP journal for Shiro Miyata, but at least for now he'll be insisting on using his brother's name hence why it's gonna say "Kei Makino" in quite a few places.
